The candlestick is made by slip-casting porcelain clay and then spraying traditional Jeju Onggi clay onto its surface. The Onggi clay produces varying colors depending on its concentration, mixing ratio, and application thickness. Different clay mixtures sprayed onto the surface create unexpected colors and textures during firing, adding a sense of sculptural interest through these unexpected results.
Each piece is handcrafted. Variations in glaze, color, and surface finish are unique characteristics of the work. Please handle with care and avoid impact.
