작가 소개

tahji is a Seoul-based object design studio.

We design, develop, and produce everyday objects meant to be lived with. Moving beyond mere decoration, our work is crafted to define personal taste and the spaces we inhabit.

Everything at TAHJI begins with 3D printing. We operate strictly on a made-to-order basis, producing only what is necessary to eliminate excess inventory and strictly limit waste.

By controlling the entire process—from initial concept to final production—we take full responsibility for quality, setting our own standards for a sustainable brand.

。Description
A perforated art object reinterpreting the aesthetic of Goryeo Dynasty pottery (Doho). It encapsulates the natural distortion and organic lines characteristic of aged antique pottery through fluid, asymmetrical curves. By stitching your own pattern along the perforations of the body, you can create a one-of-a-kind jar. The delicate layered texture of 3D printing harmonizes with the soft tactile feel of thread, transforming the piece into a sensory art piece. Paired with the SOHO POT, it achieves its complete form and functions as a functional planter. Includes a matching pedestal stand for the SOHO. Made with highly durable and water-resistant PETG material, all products are manufactured on a Made-to-Order basis to minimize environmental impact.

。Package Included
[KIT] Standard Inclusion: SOHO Object Body + Base Stand + 1 Thread & Needle Set (※ The included thread set is randomly selected in a curated color combination designed to complement your chosen object color beautifully.)

An art piece completed by carefully hand-stitching the upper part of a Moon Jar to gleam like a full moon. The round, fluid curves epitomize the essence of Korean aesthetics, symbolizing abundance, blessings, and the beauty of natural negative space and harmony. Expressed through the warm texture of thread, it carries a heartfelt wish that radiant abundance will always accompany every moment you face the piece. Crafted in highly limited quantities through the artist’s own hands, this exclusive art piece offers exceptional collectible value.

Production Technique: Mixed media(3D printing, embroidery, weaving)

An art piece capturing the deep cyan blue of the night sky, blending the fluid curves of a Moon Jar with traditional Korean Ottchil (lacquer) technique. As a natural heritage coating, Ottchil has long been revered for its functional properties of pest resistance, moisture protection, and exceptional durability, traditionally used to preserve precious artifacts. The layers of lacquer applied over the modern 3D-printed perforated structure not only enhance structural strength but also develop a unique, deep luster that brightens over time. Showcasing a functional fusion of modern technology and heritage craft, this exclusive piece is produced only in highly limited quantities.
