PLÁDS GongGan is a home fragrance and lifestyle brand that translates the beauty of Korean heritage through a contemporary lens.
Inspired by traditional Korean forms, crafts, architecture, and cultural symbols, we reinterpret cultural heritage through fragrance and design. Rather than preserving tradition as something of the past, we transform it into objects and experiences that naturally belong in modern spaces. From potteries and royal seals to traditional masks and more, each creation carries a story rooted in Korean culture.
Our work is guided by the quiet values found in Korean aesthetics—balance, warmth, and harmony. Through thoughtful research, material exploration, and handcrafted production, we create timeless objects that invite people around the world to experience Korean beauty in a personal and meaningful way.

Inspired by objects that might have occupied a royal chamber during Korea’s Joseon Dynasty over 600 years ago, King’s Soban Candle reinterprets traditional Korean forms for contemporary living. Composed of a soban, maebyeong, jubeong, and royal seal, the piece transforms cultural heritage into a modern home fragrance object. Handcrafted from natural wax, each sculptural form highlights the balance, elegance, and quiet beauty found in Korean aesthetics. Through the harmony of scent, material, and form, the work invites tradition to be experienced as part of everyday life.
